Dr. Micah Mills
Dr. Micah Mills was raised in rural southern Oregon where his family enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities. He earned his undergraduate degree in Health Science at Corban University and his doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry. After completing his residency training at the Illinois Eye Institute in urban Chicago, he moved west and joined Treasure Valley Eyecare. Dr. Mills is the only optometric physician in Caldwell/Nampa to complete a post graduate residency and among the few nationally (less than 15%) to complete this intensive training. He is the regional director of the Idaho Optometric Physicians Association, and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Caldwell Rotary Club.
Dr. Mills’ specialites include comprehensive vision and eye health exams for adults and children, Lasik and catact co-management, and contact lens fitting. Dr. Mills also has clinics specifically for dry eye, glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Mills oversaw an Urgent Care service with 24/7 on call duties during his training to handle emergencies including infections, trauma, and minor surgical procedures. If you have an eye emergency please call the office at 208-459-2641.
Dr. Brittany Highsmith
Dr. Brittany Highsmith was born and raised in northern Idaho where she and her family raised horses. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at University of Idaho. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry. After completing her education she returned to Idaho to practice.
Dr. Highsmith specializes in comprehensive eye care for both adults and children including treatment of ocular diseases, dry eye, surgical co-management and fitting contact lenses.
In her free time Dr. Highsmith enjoys skiing, riding horses and spending time with her family in the Treasure Valley.
